2007  Gibson Les Paul Custom

A most unusual instrument. w/ohsc

Formerly owned by Steve Earle, given to us by Steve to find a new home.This is an extremely fine and most unusual Les Paul. Recently made (which means barely legal used and about dead mint) in the Gibson Custom Shop, it has all the appointments of a Les Paul Custom, except for the fingerboard inlays. Bound fingerboard and triple-bound headstock; all gold-plated hardware; top of the line tuners; Les Paul Standard trapezoid fingerboard markers. Quite handsome for sure, with gracefully tinted lacquer for that old-timey look, yet exceedingly fresh. Also quite unusual are the P-90 pickups here, and what sounds like a chambered body too. All in all, quite the handsome piece, and it SCREAMS. Never seen another like it. Comes with its factory paperwork.
