From the collection of Gary Tallent, longtime bassist with Bruce Springsteen; comes with a letter of authenticity signed by Mr. Tallent. This is a 1934 (from the FON inside the guitar) example of the best of the Gibson Century versions, having a 14-fret neck and flush-fit fingerboard end. There are no cracks whatsoever, it is quite clean, and its playability is extremely easy with extra-light gauge strings, recommended. There is a distinctive small multicolored decal been added, obviously many years ago, in the area of the top between the soundhole and the bridge, quite attractive-looking IOHO and part of the story as they say; there is one coat of overspray on the back only. A unique guitar and a unique opportunity to acquire a lovely instrument formerly owned by an original member of an iconic American rock and roll band, and a most pleasant guitar to play as well.
